I'm a bit frustrated, and in need of some help with my website. In short:

I scan a photo... no problem. I edit the photo... no problem. I save the

blue sky areas mostly).

I've been working with a server cluster for the past 4 months that is specifically designed to host Frontpage-generated websites. As a consequence I've had to work with Frontpage itself to test things. Aaaargh! What a frustrating piece of software to use. FP takes control and you hardly know what's happening as you are attempting to put a page together. I wouldn't doubt that it is "deciding" to present your photos in some "efficient" way that is messing up the resolution or the display of the image (such as, say, displaying an 800x600 image in a 500x300 window by just using a smaller frame).

I'd suggest you try using some different software to design your website..... there are a lot of FREE software packages out there that will design nice, neat, HTML-compliant pages.

However....after saying all that, I went and peeked at your example I can't see any problems at all in the sample you have provided. The sky looks clean and neat both when I view it in my browser and when I save it and use an 'external' viewer.

Here's an example:

So.... I'm puzzled about what you're seeing. It seems to me that it must be something with your browser? Try a few different browsers to see if the behavior is the same with all of them (or try viewing your site with someone else's computer).
