Check the mirror bumper foam (at the top of the mirror box - it cushions the mirror when it reaches the top of it's travel). Sometimes when it's old it gets gooey and the mirror sticks to it for a moment before dropping back down. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
