Pentax made money the last couple of years. If you want to keep your lenses and flash and not cost yourself a whole ton of money they are the only way to go. If on the other hand you want the highest specified current equipment you'll have to look elsewhere. (Pentax has just entered a joint deal with Samsung so you can buy a Samsung branded Pentax DSL:R, real soon now).
