I have to concur with almost all of what Godfrey reported. The only part that sort of "surprised" me a little was the reported " *perfect* " fit to the eyepiece. I had one of these OM critters once and its fit seemed just a little tight, or just a little "snug" to the eyepiece. However, that was way back when I was trying it out on LX's and Super A's. It was fully usable, as Godfrey has described (the mirror image is not a big deal, as he has mentioned, although the correct image of the Refconverter-M, etc. is still nicer), but it seemed to take just slightly more force to mount the Varimagni to the Pentax M-sized eyepiece. Of course, the *ist* eyepieces could be ~very~ slightly different from the film M-sized Pentaxes, but they can't be all that different, since they still work well with M-sized eyepiece accessories. However, the Varimagni is definitely an option for the Pentaxer... Fred
