This is kind of an odd question in a way, because the answer(s) to it will
lead one to what conclusion(s)? Off the top of my head, I use whatever lens
is appropriate to the subject, circumstances, and composition I'm attempting
to capture. :-)
I've been favoring the FA 31/1.8 LTD quite heavily.
If I need a longer mid range lens I use the FA 100/2.8 macro.
If I need a lens to use because I'm not sure what I'll be shooting or I need
to react quickly, I'll use the Tamron 28-300.

Gang,
This is not really meant as a survey, but it would be interesting to hear
other people's preferences.
Counting exposures made in 2005, my most used lens was the D-FA 16-45/4
zoom. With a Sigma 70-200 as a good number 2. Primes in the focal range
covered by the 16-45 (20, 31 and 50mm) saw very much less use.
And here I was thinking that I still was more of a Primes kind of guy...<g>
