Thanks Boris. An ND Grad may have helped... I have one but it doesn't fit the FA 100/2.8 In any case, I didn't have a lot of time to think about it. :-)

The ND Grad I believe fits the Tamron 28 - 300. I've been growing less and less happy with this lens as images often lack the sharpness I'm hoping for. It's the reason I used the FA 100/2.8.

Hi!

Taken this morning outside the front door. I should mention that I was the only one up yet. I saw the light from the upstairs bathroom window upon stepping out of the shower. I ran 'au naturel' out to the car, got the camera, changed lenses and took several shots. I thought that would add a little to the image. ;-)

Tom, et al, a question for you. Do you think a ND Grad filter would help to reduce the contrast between sky and mountains and perhaps (I am not sure, just suggesting) improving the photo?
