AFAIK it's very good value. BTW: are there any known details why 20/2.8, 24/2.0 and 28/2.8 where discontinued, although these lenses where good quality, good value and even more suitable for DSLR crop factors? 85/1.4 or 135/2.8 are other primes which where discontinued, leaving significant gaps (ok, the 77/1.8 is still around) - Martin
