It would be nice if there were a thumbwheel to alter the plane of focus as 
set by the AF, maybe with a viewfinder indicator, to maximize foreground 
focus.  This would put me in the K10D/K1D checkout line for sure.

I can't derive this from reading the Holy Crap thread and cannot be sure it 
has never been discussed but with the 67 with an aperture ring and its 
hyperfocal distance indicators I can guess an appropriate focus to maximize 
foreground focus (something I found desirable in MF but rarely used in 
35mm).  With digital I guess you can manually focus and use the DOF preview 
button but I never used a DOF preview button much.
