Thanks, ann. Yup, the Redwoods were fantastic and Trinidad was beautiful. Just happenstance I hit it at the right time of day and the sky was clear. But I saw a lot of inredibly beautiful stuff. I'll be throwing up a Redwood Gallery soon.
I just wasn't sure I could do it all justice, so glad people like this shot. I will also be taking off on another mini-trip soon. To country not quite as beautiful, but beautiful too. I could catch a traveling bug, I could catch a traveling bug that is, if I also didn't have other things to do. But the idea of getting a mini-camper and traveling, traveling, traveling, has great appeal. Marnie aka Doe :-) ============= Marnie - I haven't been reading the list for about a week, but glad I hopped back into read mode to catch this - A lovely shot - beautiful timing, placement, etc. Very evocative. I bet that short trip was wonderful for you ann > > --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > > On my trip north to the Redwoods, I arrived at Trinidad Beach just as > > the sun > > set. > > > > It had been a fairly warm day with minimal fog, still I was surprised > > to see > > surfers there -- the water must have been COLD.
