In the past, I've purchased about $15,000 in various items over ebay. I've
never been bitten. If the item is $25 or so, I'll risk a postal money order.
If I know the person, as in I've seen them doing continuous business on ebay
for a year or more, I may risk a bit more. Otherwise, I used an escrow
service. Do not buy a large dollar item without one.
