I hope so but I still don't know how this could be achieved
technically, the CCD appears to be the same off-the shelf unit as used
in other bodies. And even if it were somehow tailored for Pentax in
some manner (which I very much doubt given the Pentax claim of 13000
units per month) the noise will remain the same for the family/design.

Granted the new 22bit ADC and processing may provide more natural and
hence less offensive/noticeable noise but it will still be there
(assuming RAW image capture, who knows what they have up their sleeve
WRT in camera JPG NR). Blind faith is not something I'm good at
apparently.
