The Sigma EF 500 DG Super is an excellent flash - I have one that works well with the DS and DS2. However, the earlier units won't work with the K100D (don't know about the K10D). Sigma has a recall on them for a free upgrade. Just send the flash to them, they'll install the upgrade and return it to you.
