The web images you're looking at are too low-res to provide any real information in regard to noise levels. I'm surprised that you're wringing your hands over low-res web images produced with 0.2 firmware. Paul
----- Paul, I believe they are full-size jpegs. At least they felt that way when I downloaded them on my dial-up connection. And the high ISO images showed in Japan yesterday were taken with firmware version 0.20. Pentax is getting a lot of mileage out of that version.
