Actually, originally the 300D came with a very good Canon conversion program. I use Elements and PS instead because of familiarity and easy of use, but the Canon software works fine. Did you get a disc? It's the file viewer utility. And come to think of it, I think they also have it on their site. If not, I could probably sent it to you.
