The earliest message I have in my archive is one I sent to the list on 5 January 2000, but I'm sure I was around before that. I tend to just sit back quietly and read most of the time.
I heard about the list off one of the various forums that were around at the time when someone mentioned that the reason for the lack of any Pentax participation was that everyone who used Pentax equipment was on this list. So I came over and have never left.
