I joined while I lived in Allentown, PA, I think. So it must have been late 1995 or first half 1996. Then I moved to Wichita, KS, then to he Netherlands, then the UK and then back to the Netherlands, I stayed on the list all that time, it is so addictive. I wish the list was free though. It has cost me a lot of money, following the enablement the list gave me. I am waiting for my K10D.
