Thanks. Yes, I'd rather talk about photography as well.
I think the small jpegs are misleading. On a large blowup of the tiff  
files, the Mamiya pic is somewhat less noisy than the Pentax. Of  
course, even after cropping,  it's a much larger file, generated by a  
much larger sensor. That being said, I'm very impressed with both the  
shake reduction and the noise levels of the K10D. I'm also very happy  
with its performance in continuous autofocus m ode. I shot some pics  
of my granddaughter running in the yard this afternoon, and the  
camera nailed the focus consistently. More on that later.
