I have use the Sigma 70-200 EX with the matching 1.4x and 2x EX
converters. With the 1.4x there is hardly any image degradation
just a slight loss of contrast (minor really).

With the 2x converter the image gets a bit softer still, and the corners
are noticably worse than center. Still usuable for most wildlife stuff
with the subject centered though :-)

Don't know, never used it.
What I have heard is that the 100-300 EX is as good as the 70-200
so I would expect it does well with the 1.4x too ...

Plan to replace th 70-200 with the 60-250 if quelity is real good
and the price somewhat acceptable :-)
