Any opinions on the combination ? I have use the Sigma 70-200 EX with the matching 1.4x and 2x EX converters. With the 1.4x there is hardly any image degradation just a slight loss of contrast (minor really). With the 2x converter the image gets a bit softer still, and the corners are noticably worse than center. Still usuable for most wildlife stuff with the subject centered though :-) >What about the 100-300 f/4 + 1.4 t/c ? Don't know, never used it. What I have heard is that the 100-300 EX is as good as the 70-200 so I would expect it does well with the 1.4x too ... Regards, JvW PS: Plan to replace th 70-200 with the 60-250 if quelity is real good and the price somewhat acceptable :-) ------------------------------------------------------------------ Jan van Wijk; http://www.dfsee.com/gallery -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
