Nope, output is 8 bit, 256 shades per channel, 3 channels.
This is, however, close enough to continous tone that the eye perceives it 
as same.
Sometime, blow your printing budget and send a file off to your local Costco 
or Wal-mart or whatever, order an 8x10 and see what it looks like.
