Pentax have recently informed their organization that they will start market products that are not ment for the masses. These are low volume, niche products. I assume the Lmited lenses are part of this product series. This can be seen in the light of the Pentax camera division boss recent statement that he will "make a camera the owners would like to take to their graves" and "an LX with AF".
