I am afraid I am too lazy to read all those financial articles. English is not 
my first language and an automatic English translation from a Japanese 
financial article may be absolutely cryptic for me ;-)
...however, after reading the reactions to this post in the same thread, I 
believed that it was accurate.

Read  the article, it does not match what the guy said on dpreview.

The board  will meet on May 24th to consider and vote on the deal. There is 
no indication,  in the article. that Hoya is going to axe the camera division. 
And there is no  indication the old CEO is coming back.

Let's wait and see what happens. I  found that article the other night when 
it was first posted, but did not post it  here because it essentially has no 
new news. Except for the fact the whole board  has to approve the deal and when 
the board meeting will be.

Totally  irresponsible of that poster on dpreview to say it said other  
things.
