Last Saturday, I enjoyed a very interesting morning with Peter Lacus
and his friend Frank who had made the long journey to New Zealand and
gave me and Palmerston North the honour of what I am sure must be the
first PDML official visit.

It's autumn here and I decided that in case he wasn't already cold, I
would take up to local windfarm to make sure that he thoroughly
experience why it they put the farm there.

Here's a shot of the three of us taken with Peter's or was it Frank's
DA40 on my K10D - that's Frank on the left, me in the middle, and
Peter on the right -http://www.pbase.com/kiwibiologist/image/79727496

A couple of shots of domestic animals and the windmills rendered in
B&W in lightroom - seemed appropriate for the transformation the land
has witnessed in the last 150 years or so (though I for one,
appreciate the windmills). One taken with the DA40, and the other with
the FA24-90.
