A few years ago, I bought an A 85 / 1.4 ( I seem to remember I got it from Cotty, but my mind may be playing tricks here). I sold it a little later to fund the purchase of some 645 stuff as part of my master plan to have some great lenses for when the 645D came along.
Anyway, my lack of 85 /1.4 has niggled me ever since, and when I saw the (I know slightly inferior) FA version on the website of a UK mail order retailer in Mint- condition, the day after my boss had told me of my annual pay rise, it was a sign from heaven, and I am now the proud owner of a very mint looking lens, complete with original box, soft case and the largest and most solid lens hood I have ever seen in my life. Just time for a swift play today, but it seems to balance nicely on the K10D. It'll be weekend before I get to play wit hit seriously, but i can hardly wait.
