Yes, Nikon does on the D200 and upth AI or AI-Converted lenses. Even has 
Lens Data Entry so that you can use Matrix Metering. Oddly, the 
D40/D40X, which won't even meter with non-CPU lenses, is the first body 
introduced since 1980 to allow safe mounting of non-AI lenses that don't 
require mirror lockup.
