Glad to hear that!

I've bought some Pearl Izumi Pittards leather gloves and a wrist
guard, just in case. In fact, I've been wearing them for the last few
weeks while jogging, in case I trip.

I don't have enough strength to support myself for any length of time,
but getting on the bike will be one more thing towards functional
recovery, even if I can't do much more than cycle to the post depot to
pick up a parcel.

I've been doing the physio exercises scrupulously and am close to full
extension in the wrist, although it's still a struggle, and am getting
a lot of improvement in flexion, though there's still a long way to go
in that. Abduction and adduction are almost there.

On Monday the surgeon said he expected full functional recovery, but
about 90% of full movement. That's better than the last prognosis, but
I still reckon I can do better than that.
