Thanks Ann. The fires were raging in SoCal while I was on Alcatraz last Wednesday, but if you look at the satellite photos, the smoke and such were stretching out over the Pacific far to the south of San Francisco (Los Angeles is 350-400 miles south). There's probably some influence but at that time direct influence was likely pretty small.
