I haven't used a flash meter or colour meter since I started using digital 
in the studio, the histogram is far more accurate. That's using one set of 
tools instead of a different set.
I have seen wedding photographers miss obviously good candids because they 
are looking at the lcd rather than at what they are being paid to look at.
To me, that is chimping, and the photographer is proving that they are a 
lower form of intelligent life by doing it.
