No, she's not so allergic that the naturally occurring amounts are a
problem, it's generally the extra sulphur-dioxide added by the manufacturers
that is the problem (shows up as preservative 220 on the label). Since this
can be anything up to 20 times the naturally occurring level and there is no
way to tell whether it is a little or a lot the only thing to do is find
sulfite-free wines. Interestingly, organic wines aren't necessarily
sulfite-free. I guess the label "organic" only refers to how they are grown.

Sulfites are actually naturally occurring in wine as a by-product of 
fermentation.  If you've very allergic to them there are no sulfite free 
wines.
