Any of Pentax's flashes will work with this camera. I've used the 500FTZ with it, and it works great. It also works well with the older analog flashes -- my personal favorite is the AF280T. Exposure is usually dead on. I've even used it with older flashes like the AF200S without problems (I have a lot of Pentax flashes). I also have a handle-mount Sunpak that I use with it for heavy assignments that require a lot of power, but if you're looking for power, compatibility and economy, the AF280T is a really good bet.
