I'd be willing to bet it will be ~f/2.4 though, based on recent prime lens offerings. For me, this is not really a fast lens. I have both the 31/1.8 and A and FA 35/2 lenses, neither is as fast as I would like. I really like f/1.4ish standard lenses. I am pretty sure I am in a minority though.
