Easiest way (Lightroom 1.4.1):

- click on the folder or collection of photos you want to search
- open the Find panel
- click the Text checkbox
- set the upper popup to Keywords
- set the Rule popup to Are Empty

The grid will now show all exposures which have no assigned keywords.
