Well, I just compared the 2001 photoguide to the 1956 photoguide. I have both right here. The 2001 is about 1/4 inch taller and slightly thicker, the cover on the old one looks to be a lot more durable. I seem to remember that back in the fifties they cost a buck (you could buy a paperback novel for 25 cents back then). No one ever gave me one for free..
