I will second Aaron's opinion on the Sekonic L208b. Mine has been stone reliable since I bought it used several years ago. Also it seems to be the most pocketable ambiant/flash meter around. Don't think that doesn't matter, a meter in your pocket is far more useful than one in the car a half mile away.
