In general, the other people like my pictures. I was surprised to see
that in a workshop of 20 people, I was the only one who constantly
carried a camera, ready to shoot. I got some nice comments from Alex
too, he compared my work with the work of some people it doesn't
deserve to be compared to. Also said that despite my concern that I'm
doing something that has been done before, to death, and quite well,
he sees value in my photos, and that there's consistency in my
results.

My benefits? I guess just the interaction with good photographers
(both the teachers and some of the students) is great. Also, having
your work edited by Alex Webb is a learning experience by itself.

I decided last year during the Eddie Adams workshop that I don't want
to be a photojournalist. SO this is my way of staying in touch with
that world, without big commitments.
