Sorry Ken, I should have read a little clearer there. That is your photo. To make my comment a bit clearer. The color of the underside of the wing is a bit more muted yet lighter, like it was coated with a very thin layer of whitewash than the upper wing surface of the monarch, (which is easily seen in the sample). Your photo is showing the lower wing surface and the color is rendered closer to what the upper surface as seen here.
