The D700 certainly looks to be a superb body. Makes me question whether I should keep or sell my Nikkor 20/3.5, 105/2.5 and 180/2.8 lenses ... I'd only need a 35 and a 50 to have a complete Nikon kit again. OR a 17-35/2.8.
I don't know whether I'm as excited about it as I am about the potential of micro-FourThirds, though. Compact, lightweight and fast are more my thing.
