Yes, but that's precisely why there shouldn't be loads of "customisation 
options". - Especially if most people will have to change the settings 
in order to get the "best" setup. Which the ones I mentioned sort of 
look like, but I don't know what the buttons in question will otherwise 
be used for...

The point is just that I think it's a huge misconception when reviewers 
or marketing material talk about the number of customisations as if 
having as many as possible is always a Good Thing. The goal when 
designing a user interface should instead be to limit the options to a 
bare minimum - not as a way to put restrictions on the users, but by 
making sure the default behaviour is so well thought out that nobody 
will want to change it.
