I think it goes something like this: 1. Fill out the maintenance-request request form. In triplicate. Review takes 10 to 15 business days. 2. If approved a park ranger will deliver one maintenance request form. It, too, has to be completed in triplicate. 3. Find a photocopier. 4. Fill out the form. Review takes 10 to 15 business days. 5. If approved a park ranger will evaluate the breaker and deliver the major-electrical-maintenance request form. Repeat steps 3 and 4. 6. If approved an electrical engineer will re-evaluate the breaker and deliver the actually-do-the-damn-work request form. Steps 3 and 4. 7. If approved a team of no less than 4 linemen will arrive within one week to flip the damn switch. Please be available between the hours of 8am and 4pm EST. 8. They miss their appointment. 9. Call to bitch^H^H^H^H^H reschedule. See number 7. 10. They arrive while you're at lunch. Number 9. 11. The arrive while you're there. Since they're union, it take 4 days to do the work. 12.
