I read that you are in a testy mood tonight, so I've turned off the ads and flashing links. :-)

Lenses. I have some 27 FF lenses, mostly A, F, and FA. I know, I'm a whining fop. But I've spent 40 years collecting this stuff.

Don't worry, I have an estate and no descendants, so it's all up for grabs sometime in the unknown future! :-)

No necessarily.
Nikon's DX lenses work on the D3/D700. Admittedly at a "cropped" resolution,
but they do work.

What's the point of shelling out the bucks for a full frame DSLR, if you're only going to be able to shoot "cropped" because the lenses won't cover the full frame?
