Dario, I just gave up guessing wich media is fake and wich is original - in 
Brasil even the higher priced may be faked. Guess we can't rely on visual 
inspection to spot counterfeit media.

I try to stay out of problems by burning two copies of different brands, and 
try to use Sony, Maxell or TDK.

I just wouldn't call DVDR media permanent storage... had some failures over the 
years, and had to re-scan lots of stuff.
