Hi Charles and Pasvorn,

I'm more impressed by the 16-50 than the Zenitar image! Thanks. This shows all I needed to know. I think I'll get a Zanitar from Russia. It's within my budget. The dealer who sells them has a decent reputation and it should only take a day or two to get here. But he's not in the EU, so I may have customs trouble. I'll check before I order it.

Hi Don,

It is not full fish-eye, but it still heavily distorted, especially if
you have horizontal lines run across the frame.

If you go to www.pbase.com, you can search for examples.

I have here three quick shots which I did from a tripod with:

 1. Kit Lens (@18mm)
 2. Da 16-50 @16mm
 3. Zenitar

You can see the relative fields of view as well as distortions fairly simply.
