 To me it compares pretty favourably with the SMCP 35/3.5 for raw sharpness. 
 You definitely end up with a little more detail in the frame than with the 
FA24/2.0 despite the wider coverage of the 6x7 lens (it is a little less sharp but 
the format difference buys you more "information").
