I'm with you Boris. I'm not the target for this lens, the 77/1.8 and
the 50/1.4 greatly cover the low amount or portraits I do.
I can see the logic behind this lens: a replacement for the 85/1.4 in
APS-C, but I don't think Pentax is going to sell many, I might be
wrong, and that's usually the case when I'm not interested in a lens.
I imagine it has been designed with portraiture in mind, and the
design has characteristics that make it useful for that purpose, but I
don't know how large can be the group of Pentax users that need this
lens and that haven't already bought an alternative; I would've
preferred them to get out that 30 prime that is in the roadmap, and I
know most people want it to be a fast lens, but I prefer a pancake (we
have the 31 already for speed).

Anyways, photos look good, and I'll also sit and hope in the future I
can understand the need for this lens too.
