I maybe printed, oh, 20 photos a year when I first started (or 30, because when I first started I did waste a lot of time on test prints, adjusting for colors, etc). Some of us just don't print that often, in that case a cheaper Epson is fine and the inks won't break you, although they are sometimes pricey. The only other option is to find a lab that does prints. For me, shrug, a home printer turned out to be cheaper. I still only print about 20 a year. If that much. Unless I take a photography class. Just not that many of my photos that I feel are worth a print.
