Igor, Here's all I know. I've got a TR power pack II for the AF-500 FTZ. I don't believe it is compatible with the AF-540 FGZ, but I don't know what is (sure wish it was). The power pack takes heavy "C" size batteries, and acts like it has infinite capacity. I haven't been able to wear it down or slow it down. I think you'll overheat the flash first. It is too heavy for mounting on a camera unless you are a gorilla. Regards, Bob S.
