I had been giving some thought to going to "Godfrey" route and pursing a
mini four-thirds. I just find myself grabbing the DS instead of the K10D,
and a camera is not much good if you don't want to take it along. So, how
long will I have to wait before the K7 comes under $1000?
That little Panasonic thing is pretty nice if you can get past the
viewfinder, which for me pretty much makes the camera unusable. Too bad, as
the finder is quite large, more reminiscent of a 35mm film camera finder
than the really small sensor camera that it is. I find the camera to be a
bit too small, but it does have a good control layout and the build seems
good.
You can mount just about anything with a lens mount onto it via adaptors.
The K-7 is close to the *istD in size, but it is a fairly hefty camera.
