Cory, replace the supplied strap with something like the Lowepro
Voyager S. It has a Velcro pocked for card storage.
It's also much more comfortable, and has quick release buckles for
when you don't want the strap attached.
I bought one for a friends birthday earlier this year & on seeing it
liked it enough that I got one for myself.
