Man, whew. So sorry for your squish in the dark!
Cats prefer to be put out in the evening, and retrieved after the sun
comes up.
Saves much late night or early morning drama.
Left in at night, they will set traps for you, and smother your babies!

Charles - all things are relative. Of course I have seen severed heads
and toilet slavery, but come on - you have to know what a nasty pile

hairball puke looks, smells and *feels* like (yes - feels - when
squished between your toes in the kitchen in the dark while groping
for
water at 3 am with a throat like a horned toad's crack) to know the
