I chose to bring the K-7 and the FA 43mm f/1.9 for this, and it proved
to be a very nice little combo, fitting into the front pocket of my
jacket (anorak).

How on earth did they fit all of those people on the summit!?

My congratulations - a great effort.

Congrats indeed. I missed that it was a blogpost, therefore didn't need a URL...

Probably, they get everyone on top the same way they do here http://pl.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Plik:Trzy_Korony_a2.jpg&filetimestamp=20061023152752 with a staging area lower down and a (in the Polish case) 3x3m platform at the top. You get 15 minutes up there if there is a queue.

Drop me a hint if the PP is off the mark. I don't trust this laptop
screen...

PP looks fine to me. I particularly like the second image.

I don't know why but somehow I expected your tallest mountain to be
higher. Australia is generally thought of as being hot, dry and fairly
flat but our highest mountain (Mount Kosciuszko) at 2228 metres is
closer in height to Galdhøpiggen than I expected.

Cheers
