1. Not shooting through glass of course.
2. No, I haven't tuned my LCD (yet).
3. I'd like to be told where is that checkbox that you
mentioned can be found?
4. No, I am not *looking* for problems. I am just making
all kinds of shots (time of day and my tiredness permitting)
to see how this camera behaves. Though of course, I am being
extra attentive to the results, 'cause I need to study the
new tool.
5. Notably, I decided not to do this heat testing as it is
unlikely that I will run into such condition any time soon.
Meanwhile, the handling, the AF and general operation of
this camera is much to my liking.
Finally, I've just made a quick test shoot with
PEF/DNG/JPG, sRGB/AdobeRGB options. So far indeed DNG is
slightly warmer than PEF, but I found no serious color
representation problems. The conditions were quite similar -
same building, roughly the same time as yesterday. In fact,
nothing to write home about, except that I still get
consistent underexposure which I did not correct yet, as I
want to study the camera at its default condition.
I've also found that switching between Adobe Standard and
Camera Standard calibration profiles has certain effect on
the colors.
Yet, indeed more shooting will be necessary, which probably
will happen by the weekend.
I intend to keep you posted, guys, as I think such an
experience will have its merits for more people than just
me.

Also, have you tuned your LCD? (I presume the
adjustment is there for consumer based QC).
And finally, have you ticked the checkbox in
Lightroom's presets that allow you to set the default to
camera serial number? This should allow you to dial in file
handling based on the camera in case it needs a bit of a
tweak.
And finally, are you looking for problems? This last
part is important, because you surely will find what you
want to find.
